THE SHEEP CREEK WEAVERS ANNUAL EXHIBIT AT SHEEP RIVER LIBRARY
For close to a decade the Sheep River Library has hosted a community exhibit to showcase the beautiful fibre arts of The Sheep Creek Weavers Fibre Arts Guild. 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Sheep Creek Weavers so it is fitting that this year’s annual September event at the Sheep River Library will have a focus on celebrating fifty years of creativity, friendship and community. Fibre Art displays will include a range of unique solo and group creations. Making this year’s show even more special, on display will be several of the various interest groups 50th Anniversary Projects. The Sheep Creek Weavers Guild would like to acknowledge and thank our event community partner, Sheep River Library Manager Jan Burney and her staff along with their most recent Library Board Art Co-ordinator Andy Lees alongside his wife Chester Lees. Please come and visit starting September 3rd.
Library hours are Monday through Saturday 10 - 5 closed on Statutory Holidays. The library is located at 129 Main St NW, Diamond Valley, Alberta.
