Workshop Title: Ice Dyeing
 
Workshop Description: 
We will take plain tea towels,
Fold in creative ways, top with some ice and dye powder, and
Watch the magic happen.
 
Materials and Equipment:
Requirements for participants to bring: 2 drip trays such as old Cookie sheets that have a raised edge on all sides, a large Plastic bag to bring the project home for completion, 6-10 Small plastic spoons that are preferably narrow & pointy
 
Kit fee: $15 which includes 3 tea towels per participant, enough dye in a selection of colors to complete the project, 3 small plastic baskets to hold the tea towel and ice, rubber gloves, and plastic table cover.
 
About the Instructor:
I have been dyeing for 15 years from my home studio
at our home property. I have dyed fabric for quilting. I have dyed
tablecloths and table runners, but predominantly I have dyed tea
towels, because they are fun , the results are rewarding and everyone can use a new tea towel.
