Workshop Title: Dying Natural Fabrics & Fibres

Workshop Description:
For natural fabrics and fibres only: cellulose, cotton, linen and protein i.e. wool, silk
There will be an indigo pot and an onion skin pot. Note that indigo is favourable for cellulose fibres and vegetable dyes give deeper tones on protein fibres.
Note:
1. Fibres/fabric need to be well-washed
2. Pieces should be no bigger than 24" x 24", or can be smalll skeins (for onion skin bath)
Participants to bring:
Fibres/fabrics as per note above, onion skins (red, brown)
Skill Level: all levels.
